How is CGPA calculated?
CGPA = Σ(credits × grade point) ÷ Σ credits. Add each subject's credits and grade point and the weighted CGPA updates instantly. Example: 4 credits at grade point 9 and 3 credits at 8 give (4 × 9 + 3 × 8) ÷ 7 = 8.57 CGPA, which the CBSE rule (× 9.5) turns into 81.43%.
How do I convert CGPA to a percentage?
Universities use different formulas; CBSE uses CGPA × 9.5. Check your own institution's rule before you use a converted percentage.
