FAQ
Split PDF — frequently asked questions
How do I split a PDF into separate files?
Upload the PDF, type the pages you want (for example 1-3, 5) and click Split. Each comma-separated part becomes its own PDF; leave the box empty to split every page. Several files arrive together in one ZIP.
Can I put pages that are not next to each other into one file?
Yes. Join pages with a plus sign, for example 4+6, and they are saved together in one PDF in that order.
Does splitting reduce the quality of my pages?
No. Pages are copied without recompression, so text and images look exactly like the original and the text stays selectable.
Are my files uploaded or stored anywhere?
No. Split PDF runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent to our servers or saved anywhere.
Is Split PDF really free? Do I need to sign up?
Yes, it is completely free. There is no account, signup, watermark or email to hand over; open the page and use it as often as you like.
