How do I scan a document with my phone?
Allow camera access, photograph each page (or upload a photo), check the detected edges, pick a filter and add the page. Combine as many pages as you need into one PDF.
The page corners are not detected correctly. What can I do?
Press Auto-detect to try another shape, or drag the corner handles to match the page edges. Good light and a plain background that contrasts with the page help.
Which filter should I choose?
Colour Enhanced keeps colours, while Black & White gives crisp, small files that suit text pages such as forms and notes.
Are my files uploaded or stored anywhere?
No. Scan to PDF runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent to our servers or saved anywhere.
Is Scan to PDF really free? Do I need to sign up?

- Place the document on a flat, contrasting surface with even light.
- If the automatic edges look wrong, drag the four corner dots to match the page.
- Use Black & White for text documents and Color for photos or diagrams.
